Partly duplicated documentation on containers #985

The documentation on containers / docker is partly duplicated (I guess the intention was that one is more for users). This should be streamlined.

Also suggest to move the docker markdown file from ./docker/README.md into the docs directory. This will allow proper cross linking in the document (which is currently not working).
