Do we want to make this complete repo public? Or start sharing results (e.g. GPS sky models) with CTA people via some other means (e.g. open repo or webpage or, god forbid, only email)?
Should we start a document describing and illustrating the GPS sky model? Assuming yes, which format? Markdown, Restructured Text, TeX?
My suggestion would be "yes", i.e. just go ahead and produce something open and useful, and see how CTA data challenge people react to that. Follow the Python motto "it's easier to ask forgiveness that permission". :-)
Now that we have first results (see https://github.com/gammasky/cta-dc/issues/3#issuecomment-267131554), a question for me here is "what's our work product?"
