Suppose an employee is in office for 16 hours, i.e 6:00 p.m to 10:00 a.m.
in this situation while he is entering office that time he will "Punch-In", but prob is after 12 at night the next day begins, so in current situation he has to "Punch-In" again, and also if admin tries to change attendance of any employee it is saying "Attendance entry should be within a single day".
this is a logical issue for those offices who are works 24x7 and different shifting of employees.
