Tian - I want to make a version of something like this for Landlab models that need more attributes for HydroShare, and one for Summa models.

@ChristinaB Sorry for the late reply. Yes, please go ahead if you think the code can be adjusted as a tutorial for creating a netCDF file for HydroShare. If there is something that I can work on, please let me know. Thank you!
