Frontend editing is not working in Joomla 4 #3074

As the title say frontend editing is not working in Joomla 4.2.2 + Theme: Hydrogen v5.5.15. Pressing the edit button in frontend does nothing. Changing the theme to the default joomla Cassiopeia theme enables frontend editing to functioning again as expected. No php errors are shown and debug does not show any errors.
