Uncaught TypeError: e.indexOf #3204

Joomla 4.4.0, Gantry 5.5.17, PHP 8.1 — after migration from Joomla 3.10.12 I get the following:

Uncaught TypeError: e.indexOf is not a function at ce.fn.load (jquery.min.js:2:82864) at syw-news:1592:31 at syw-news:1611:19

Is there a fix?
