The side-effect from disenchantment should very possibly be to remove buffs 
rather than to damage items.

Alternate options should include (but not be limited to)
* Reducing current mana

Due to the increased availability of shapechanging, we should visit this sooner

Disenchantment now affects temporary effects that the player is using.
