Windows installations with Asian language support installed cause problems with 
blank characters.

Workaround may be to use pure ascii mode
command sequence is '=' (options) '!' (user interface) option 'b'

Workaround confirmed, priority medium; extended fonts are a hallmark of 
Sangband and important.  Also, problems with out of box config are problematic.

This may have to do with the placement of the wall character at code 127 (7F).

Previous comment was regarding location in included fonts.

Other variants (vanilla 3.0.3, for instance), have no reported problems with 
this, and also have the wall character at 127.  0-127 should be reserved for 
ascii characters regardless, so this was a long shot.

There are additional characters that are troublesome (pillars, water, and trees 
at least).
