ZMQ version #105

Which version of libzmq should be used? We used apt-get libzmq-dev on @vendramin's Ubuntu laptop, and it did not work. It helped to ask apt-get libzmq5-dev - problems disappeared.

@ZachNewbery Perhaps mention in the Linux installation instructions at least libzmq3-dev please
