Join / Spec, nodes and permissions #185

Hi,

Just to be sure before doing huge crap.

Because I was reading your permission page but about my question there is no answer.

I negated the permission of one arena, we'll call it default, for normal users. Because this one is for players who have done a quest. But, what if I only want them to not enter it but they can still spec it.

So, my question is: Can I just use -mobarena.use.join.default ? Or it will just give an error or won't work at all? Because I want all the players on my server to spec every arena.

I think my question is stupid, but if it's allowed to do that, it would be nice to add it in the Permission page :)

Your question is not stupid at all, and it is in fact not possible to do what you want. Arena permissions grant both join and spectate permissions, and there is currently no way of getting around that within MobArena itself. I will look into possibly adding this after my exams.

Thanks a lot, it would be really great to do that. Hope you'll be able to improve this feature because I think you'll make MobArena more powerful to use in combination to PEX ladders (or other permissions plugins that allows ladders system).
