Only the Archer sign works. #196

i've made an arena i have it all set up well for the most part but when i go to make the signs only the archer signs work. The archer sign gets an as-trick next to it ant turns green and i get a message saying that mob arena has registered that as a sign class how do i fix this? so i can have tank chemist etc. please help.

You get a message saying a class sign was registered, but the message is not from MobArena, it's from BattleArena. Please nag the BattleArena author about this behavior so they will do something about it. You're far from the first person to have this issue, but there's just nothing I can do in MobArena to circumvent the behavior in BattleArena.

In other words, all of your signs work BESIDES the Archer sign, which is stolen by BattleArena. The fix is to rename one of your Archer classes in one of the plugins.

no wait!! only the archer sign works, none of the others do all of the others just act like regular text on a sign

That is EXACTLY how it's supposed to work.

MobArena does not "register" class signs. The only signs MobArena "registers" are the top-left leaderboards signs. When you enter a lobby, any sign that simply has a MobArena class name on the top line will act as a "class sign". Like I said, the only sign that DOESN'T work is your Archer sign, because MobArena doesn't recognize it as a class sign due to the extra information (asterisk, color).

No no, don't apologize, but please raise awareness of the issue to the people that can do something about it (the BattleArena developers) :)
