Remove validation that was removed from GCP project. Copies gardener/gardener-extension-provider-gcp#433.

@MartinWeindel Could you review this with your current knowledge of the provider contracts? Looking at the change in GCP provider, there were no other changes that happened at the same time, leading me to believe this is a benign change.
