What would you like to be added: We have the following pending changes:

Make https://github.com/gardener/gardener-extension-registry-cache/pull/184 ready for review
Adapt the custom registry image used in gardener/gardener: https://github.com/gardener/gardener/blob/f2f4e75ec89aaa54045f22f422a1d3ef333929d1/example/provider-extensions/registry-seed/deploy-registry.sh#L111
