Features break if points are not displayed in Menu #226

Tried again with the Side Menu Style, and didn't work. But opening in new tabs does work.

Tried again just switching back to Top Menu and didn't work.

So I went back to Side Menu and tried turning on points on Top Menu. This allowed the new user box on the homepage to reflect available points and the button worked. Screen Shot 2022-08-05 at 9 56 38 AM.
