Can you make a TKG proton for MK11 with Controller support and Launching. im having problems with the .cfg files

gardotd426 commented 4 years ago

I got you I already have a build I'll upload it when I get done playing Titanfall 2.

You'll need to delete the pfx directory and start with a fresh one.

As far as the controller patch goes, it's been tested with like three controllers that I know of so YMMV but it's worked so far

@massatt212 here you go: https://github.com/gardotd426/proton-tkg/releases/tag/MK11

Also, make sure if you have an AMDGPU you're not using RADV, RADV does not work with MK11. You need to use either AMDVLK or the proprietary AMD Vulkan driver. I would just install AMDVLK since it can live alongside RADV and it's open-source.

Again, this is only if you're using an AMD GPU, and you need to go to the launch options for the game and add VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_icd64.json %command%, at least if you're on an Arch-based distributions. I'm pretty sure Ubuntu-based distros use /etc/vulkan/icd.d/amd_icd64.json for their path. Just find the amd_icd64.json in either /usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/, /etc/vulkan/icd.d/, or lastly /opt/something/icd.d, I don't remember what the opt path is. But it'll be in one of those locations.

If you have any trouble let me know, but I would need to know your GPU, distro, kernel, and what launch options you're using.

i notice amdvlk is breaking up in video & and mesa doesnt work is their a way i can set a launch command to use amdvlk while i have mesa Vulkan drivers installed ?

NVM it works with MESA 20.1 and if i use STEAM controller setting the game works with my HORI Fight Commander FightPad

gardotd426 commented 4 years ago

What do you mean? How is it breaking up in video but you haven't set a launch command to use it?

dont mean to bother you so much can you do the same patching for Injustice 2, its the exact same work around as MK11

gardotd426 commented 4 years ago

You just use the same version, you don't need a new one. This version will work for both MK11 and Injustice 2.

massatt212 commented 4 years ago

sweet gonna down injustice and get back to you

massatt212 commented 4 years ago

Works like a charm, if you own killer instinct on steam can u give it a look, it works on Ubuntu 18.04 amd and Nvidia but on 19 or 20.04 only nvidia.
