Tests of the 40mm hot end fan duct have shown that it warps or twists upwards over time. Some likely causes of this issue:
There is not enough plastic around the screws to resist warping
The shroud overall is not very thick or rigid
Adding more material around the mounting bolts would disturb the airflow further. One alternative is flipping the fan mounting such that the bolts go into it from the back of the mosquito. We can use some 2.5mm melt in inserts in the duct.
Switching to a loft for hollowing out the duct would also allow for an 'S' curve shape providing more plastic around the mounting points
Finally removing some material from the extruder back plate would allow the duct to be fully symetrical, allow it to have thicker sides and allow it to print without supports.
