Do these changes get things working for you in 2.6? I'm afraid I don't spend any time there any more so other than unit tests I wouldn't be able to confirm.

That is correct. The changes I prescribe will allow Placebo to work in a 2.6 environment (code and unit tests). I have confirmed this. Thank you!
