Compatibility with RC522 #4

Any chance of modding to get this to work with the RC522 module?

I'm a programmer myself, but have very, very little experience with C++.

If you could point me in the right direction, I might be able to take a crack at it.

This would be useful for people who purchased a CrowPi. It would mean it would have to be coded to use SPI for the communication interface. However I haven't found any binary libraries for MFRC522 for Pi.
