4G dongle models with voice (enhancement) #10

Hello again.

There is one more vector to make this great project pretty popular - for Asterisk adding 4G lineup with voice/sms enabled!

There is a couple of threads here informing about 4G dongle models (Quectel modules such as EC20, EC21, EC25, EG9x and Simcom sim7600) with success in voice capability. https://github.com/bg111/asterisk-chan-dongle/issues/276 https://github.com/IchthysMaranatha/asterisk-chan-quectel Maybe forking & joining could make a product! Hi @osering,

Back when I was actively working on this project, I would have been thrilled to learn about 4G models with voice capabilities. As I mentioned in my previous response, I'm currently involved in too many projects to justify returning to this one.

That said, I'm more than willing to hand over the keys to the project to anyone interested in taking it over, forking it, or merging it with another initiative. I can offer comprehensive guidance on all aspects of the project. The codebase is entirely in TypeScript. While I understand that might make low-level developers cringe, the upside is that the code is much easier to read and modify compared to C code.
