For MailChimp segments/tags, I would like to do away with some of the year ones. Which would leave:
Member
NewMember
ReturningMember
AssociateMember
HogLine
Tournaments
Leagues
The specific leagues would continue to include a year tag. As a member ages from New to Returning, I can automatically update what they are joined to. Generally, these tags don't require the year as that information is captured by the app. The leagues change annually and that data is not directly saved by the app. I can also see messages going to those who have signed onto a league already and other messages going to those who participated in a prior year.
I won't make these changes until I get your comments.
Related, is there any reason that expired members would not be allowed to continue to receive any of these messages if they wish? If they shouldn't, I can auto remove them from tags once their membership has expired for a set time period. This would also place the notifications/subscriptions page behind the current member login requirement. Else I can place it outside the current member login
