No Sound #68

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I have been trying to play any sound and my JES volume is off and will not let me turn it on. Why is that?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? new version? and windows 7

Please provide any additional information below. My instructor says he has the same problem on his home computer, but not his office computer and he does not know why. It kind of makes it difficult to do my work if I am not 100% sure I am doing it right.

JES doesn't have a volume control. You're saying that JES won't play any sounds, is that right? Can you play any sounds at all from your computer? Can you play any sounds from any Java application?

First step would be to make sure that you're running the most recent version of Java.
