3 years ago I was finally able to reproduce the issue on a 5.0 emulator.
So far it seems only happening on android 5.0.
The correct state is shown if odyssey is open again via widget or notification.

Shuffle icon is swapped (red when inactive)
Setup Description
Launch Odyssey Go to tracks tab Start playing with the icon white arrow in red circle, bottom right of screen. Expand play controls by swiping up. Press 1 time on shuffle icon : shuffle mode is now activated, but icon is still white. Presse a 2nd time on shuffle icon : shuffle mode is now inactive, and icon is now red.
