Would it be possible to have an option to sort the album view by artist first then by album title, so that all albums by one artist are grouped.

Hi, we are glad to hear that you like Odyssey. Of course this sorting would be possible but isn't it more efficent to use the already existing artists view for your purpose?

I have two problems with the artists view:

• it shows compilations' artists individually which generates a lot of entries
• it is less efficient, reaching any album takes two taps instead of one

I should also mention that my desktop player of choice (lollypop) uses the sorting I described, so I am used to it and can quickly find albums by their relative position and artwork (I happen to remember the artists much better than their albums' titles).

The first point can be resolved by turning on the option "Only show artist albums" from the settings.

The second thing is personal taste.

I can not promise you that we will implement this any time soon but we might in the future.

I already have "Only show artist albums" enabled, I guess I could add something like "Various" as album artist for compilations. Fair point.

And yes, this request is entirely based on personal taste. Thank you for taking the time to look at it, whether it gets implemented or not.

I second this request : this is the way albums are sorted in Spotify, I often get lost in Odyssey. Thank you for your commitment!

Having all albums sorted for artist first and then for name seems to be like a natural search order when looking at other music player. I'm used to it and I'm lost when I'm looking for albums in Odyssey's album list. I support changing the default sorting to artist/album.
