start playback on headphone connect #89

i switched to Odyssey from Black Player in favor of FOSS and the only feature i miss was the option to have playback start when the headphones are connected.

There are many third party apps to do this job while Odyssey devs implementing this feature. wrong: (Also IIRC it was already requested, search first.)

I did search, and found nothing, before posting. I also could not find any FOSS apps that are capable of this. F-Droid has "Headphone detector for Vanilla Music" but that only works for the Vanilla Music app. If you know of a solution I would appreciate any feedback.

@ildar please be nice to our community. I think it is our job to decide which features to implement and which not.

@spanktastic2120 We'll look into it and check if it is viable for odyssey. Thanks for your interest in FOSS

Guys, everybody, sorry for being rude. I confused this with another FOSS project (I track a lot of them), that's why writing IIRC (== If I Remember Correctly). Also I checked, found nothing and fixed my comment in the tracker (though not seen in emails). Also I didn't intend to push devs, just suggested a workaround. I am sorry again.
