概要

• 通常画像 (a)、敵対的摂動のみの画像 (b)、両方を加えた画像 (a+b)をNNに入力した際のロジットの相関を調査した。
• targeted UAPを(b)として使用した場合は、(b)と(a+b)に強い相関がある一方で、(a)と(a+b)にはほとんど相関がなかった。このことから、targeted UAPはNNが捉えているそのクラスの特徴量そのものであるということを主張。
• 特定のデータセットを用いない Universal Perturbation の新しい生成手法を提案している。適当なプロキシデータセットを使用してtargeted UAPが背景画像変化（ノイズ）に強い特徴量になるようにしている。
