fairnessの向上に蒸留を応用した研究. バイアスをシステマティックに減らす方法である MMD-based Fair Distillation (MFD) を提案. 理論的にも MFD の効果を示した. sensitive groupの特徴の分布がお互いに近くなる制約項とteacherの特徴の分布と生徒の特徴の分布が近くなる制約項を提案. UTKFaceとCelebAデータセットで精度と公平性の両方を向上させることに成功.
