Turkish Translation Progress #1

For New Translators

To translate a page:

  1. Check that no one else has claimed your page in the checklist and comments below.
  2. Comment below with the name of the page you would like to translate. Please take only one page at a time.
  3. Clone this repo, translate your page, and submit a pull request!

Before contributing, read the glossary and style guide to understand how to translate various technical and Gatsby-specific terms.

Please be prompt with your translations! If you find that you can't commit anymore, let the maintainers know so they can assign the page to someone else.

For Maintainers

When someone volunteers, edit this issue with the username of the volunteer, and with the PR. Ex:

When PRs are merged, make sure to mark that page as completed!

These pages should be translated first. These pages must be translated to be considered an official Gatsby localization.

Hi, @raufsamestone.

docs/index page does not exist in this repo although it is present in here: docs/docs/index.md.

I will create it by myself, but this time review will not be possible on the pull request.

Hey @umutcanbolat , You don't have to create a new file. The index.md not synced yet. Not even another translation repositories. You can carry on other docs.

Oh, I thought this was a mistake because it is put in the list here. Well, I will take tutorial/index page until it is synced again. Thanks for your reply.

I don't understand why translate into any language, it is extremely hard to keep up with new meterial showing up every day, instead if someone is interested in being a developer, they should learn English instead. Experience rocks :)

@kemalgencay You are right about learning the English part. But, there is a fact that there is a lot of developer candidates/developers who don't know English, and they try to learn it from some blog posts. I think it's better if they learn it from documentation instead of some short blog posts. Also, even if someone knows enough English; they may still not be comfortable about learning new technology. This can flatten the learning curve.

Hello everyone, has anyone taken docs/actions.md, if not, I'd be happy to do so. Also, I tried to check the discord for the translations communications but couldn't find any. Is there a communication method there or just this issue thread?
