Thank you for your contribution @larshagencognite! Could you test JDK 17 or 21 (preferred) and send a PR for that?

Yes, I'd be happy to test running with 21

Tests with 21 seem to run fine, we were able to run a backup of FoundationDB through the S3Proxy running jvm 21.
