Add a "summarize" function #1

Given a list of species names, I'd like to classify them as far as possible, then immediately give me a summary of higher taxonomy covered ("All names come from: kingdom Animalia, phylum Arthropoda, class Insecta, order Diptera. 94% (n=34) names come from the family Sepsidae, 6% (n=2) come from the family Scathophagidae.").

This could also be a simple table:

kingdom Animalia -- 100% -- 34
- ...
- order Diptera -- 100% -- 34
- ...

For bonus marks, I'd like to be able to do this for a SEPARATE column in the file (e.g. match "scientific name" against ITIS, then give me the summary for "common name").
