Cropping of icons when using more rows/colums on homescreen #223

Hey to you all,

I got an issue with ADW.Launcher when using more than the normal amount of
columns and rows (in my case 8/8). I've played around with the setting but
never found a satisfying solution. You can see the different results in the
image below. On the right there are the same short-cuts in the
"multicon"-widget. "Multicon" resizes the icons whereas ADW.Launcher crops
them. One workaround for me was to put all my apps into "multicon"-widgets. But
too many widgets tend to really slow down my device and cause FC even after
allowing ADW.Launcher as much cache as possible. Is there any way to make
ADW.Launcher show "neater", non-cropped icons?

Oh, and I'm using DeFrost 5.1 on a HTC Desire with the latest version of
ADW.Launcher.

Thanks a lot,

Tom

Have you tried the Auto-stretch option?

I did...in the german version of ADW.Launcher, it's called "Auto-Ausdehnung"
which I translated as "auto-fit" to explain the image because I didn't know the
original term.

Okay, so there seems to be neither a solution to this bug nor anyone else who
experiences the same difficulties...that's a real pity, apart from that I loved
ADW.Launcher.

I experience the exact same problem. (And I also come from stadnard launcher +
multicon, which makes beautifully downscaled miniature icons.)
