Allow Labeling Axis #611

There doesn't seem to be any way to label the axis (not the axis ticks, but the 
text describing the units of the axis, e.g. time v cost). I'm having a little 
trouble believing this feature is missing, since this is the first plotting 
library I've found to not support this.
