bump for this. I badly need this as well. Tried with 2015 and couldn't get it to work.

Isn't there a build-in support for Android in Visual Studio 2015? It's called Cross Platform Mobile Development extension. More info here. Plus, it is distributed with Android emulators running under Hyper-V, which is 1000% faster, then the Google-original ones.
