are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ?

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ?

I have a Desire running Froyo, i used to have Chrome to Phone, and had my
googlemail account registered with it, i upgraded my pc version to Fox to
Phone, since i use Firefox, and since i did, i cannot get it to link, it tells
me i cannot log in using a Google Apps account, but i cannot change my log in
details, nor can i seem to reinstall it and make it forget those details... i
also don't know how to change my account to a non-apps account... any ideas?
