Filename Filter Explorer "Not Responding"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a directory that has more than 200 files (approx.)
2. Enter a filename in the filter text field
3. Remove the filename in the filter text field

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All files should be displayed again instantly. Instead, it takes a while
and causes the explorer window to be "Not Responding".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using StExBar 1.6.0.187 on Windows Vista SP1

Please provide any additional information below.
Dell XPS M1330
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz
3GB RAM
320GB HDD
128MB Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS

I can not reproduce this. I've tried with a folder that has 5000 files in it, 
and
removing the filename from the filter text field showed all files again 
immediately.

what was the filename you entered? Maybe that may be the reason for the delay?

I did the filtering in my music collection folder which has about 600 files in 
it. I
also tried it on  my downloads folder. Both suffer the same delay.

However, I did discover something rather interesting - when I changed the 
folder view
to another other than List, there is almost no delay. With Details view, files 
are
displayed again instantly.

So, I assume my problem has something to do with folder views. Which folder 
view are
you using?

I'm using the detailed view.
Just tried with list view, and as you said it shows the delay.

I will investigate this and can maybe find a solution...
