The bump_dependency script currently creates new homebrew formulae based on the most recent version and automatically bumps major versions in many places. There are plugin paths with syntax gz-{package}-{major_version} that are not caught by this script and require manual fixing (see https://github.com/osrf/homebrew-simulation/pull/2557). It would be convenient to fix this before Gazebo J.
