While using the gui (DRC Sim version 1.3) I can set the roll, pitch, yaw (RPY) pose values of a model in radians using the world tab on the left side of my display. If I deselect and reselect that model, the RPY values are converted to degrees where they once were radians. If other values are changed (such as x, y, z values), then the RPY values are automatically pulled in as input, but they are read in as radians causing further rotation.
