Description

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install and login in i3 sudo apt install i3 - relogin
  2. Build ign gazebo from source and run ign gazebo

If running the server and GUI separately (i.e. one terminal ign gazebo -g and one ign gazebo -s) the extra window only appears after the server is executed.

This seems like a duplicate of https://github.com/ignitionrobotics/ign-gui/issues/291, I'll close this in favor of that one, as I suspect the fix may be higher up the stack. Not on ign-gui exactly though, probably ign-rendering.
