Lato Light 300 is returning Italic style #322

All text on my site of font-family: 'Lato', font-weight: 300, has turned italic.

You can also see the same happening on Google's page 
https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Lato

I believe the font-weight 100 is also affected.

Can you specify the OS and the Browser you are seeing this?

You're right, it only happens on specific browsers. I am seeing this on Windows 
7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1), Chrome Version 36.0.1985.125 m.

It also happens in incognito mode. Font renders correctly in IE and FF.
