Only 2 of 3 pumps identified #62

I have two Spas with Gecko - a hot tub and a Swimspa. I can connect to both, and controls work fine. However, my Swim Spa has 3 pumps, but only 2 of them are identified by the integration. I should add that all 3 pumps are controllable by the Gecko assistant app. I'm using v0.1.8.

Lets get some diags.

Open a command prompt/terminal session

$ pip install geckolib

You should be connected to your spa now, so take a snapshot now

spa$ snapshot After connection

Turn on the pump that doesn't show on the app using the spa panel or the Gecko app

spa$ refresh
spa$ snapshot Pump on
spa$ exit

Then find the file client.log and email it to gazoodle at hash dot fyi

Hi Gazoodle. I am very new to this, so took me a few tries. Had to do 'list' and 'manage 1' as it didn't autoconnect to a spa. Last problem: Where do I find the log? Cant' find it in file editor and can't see anything in the HA logs. What am I missing?

It should be in the folder that you started the python interpreter in, if on Linux it’s likely to be the home folder.

Ok, another way would be to get the spa info from the HA devices page. There is a bunch of device info that you can let me have which might help too …

OK found it, and in the process of downloading it, but is over 1 GB, so I must have done something wrong. Will try again, and see if that helps.

In the meantime - the device info for my Swim spa (the one with 3 pumps) is: nYT 413 v3.0 by Gecko Alliance Firmware: SpaPack:v33.00 Config:61 Log:61 Hardware: EN:88 v15.0 CO:89 v11.0

UPDATE: Managed to do a proper log, and e-mail it to you

I’m sorry, no. I’ve got the logs but other tasks have taken me away from this integration at present. I hope to get back to it later this autumn
