@Sanqui set up two Matrix channels a Matrix bridge to #gbdev and #gbdev-ot on Discord. This ticket is to track feedbacks and performance issues we may encounter during this test

Matrix is quite solid as is, but it's inconvenient to use for a community with many chats (channels, rooms) as you need to ask everybody to join and sync permissions. This is an omission the Matrix team is aware of and a solution called Matrix spaces is under development (see MSC1772 for the technical proposal). I've heard a claim that they intend to have it ready by the end of the year, too.

I think this could be fixed by gbdev/meta#9
