Vi har nyligen upptäckt att TDWG håller ett möte Biodiversity Information Standards -TDWG- Annual Conference, och vi är intresserade av att locka detta möte till Oslo. Eftersom Ni är core member of Biodiversity Data Quality kontaktar Vi Er för att höra om Ni skulle vara intresserad av att ansöka för att få denna konferens till Oslo i samarbete med oss? Vi förstår mycket väl att det är ett stort ansvar och mycket arbete att ansöka och arrangera en konferens, och därför erbjuder vi gärna support, utan kostnad. Med vår hjälp kan Ni istället koncentrera Er på den intressanta delen av konferensen(forskning etc). I noticed in one of the links you sent me via Teams that you asked questions on who can handle the following: registration platform

A PCO (Professional Conference Organiser) can help you with A + B. We have three PCOs that we can recommend you, they are:

I you like, I can set up an PCO meeting, where you get to meet them, and they get to present their services to you one by one. We could set it up here at our office at Jernbanetorget 1, just let me know 😊 OSLO Convention Bureau can help you with C along with proposing the right venues for the conference, assist with the social programme and get a letter of support from the Mayor’s office. As I mentioned in our Teams talk, we can also arrange for a site-visit at the proposed venues. D is usually handled by the chosen conference venue (either inhouse or they outsource it).
