Mitogenome Database for Type Material Excel Sheet #139

Lutz Bachmann has requested that we create a database of mitogenomic information for type specimens. We discussed this and have agreed to use the GBIF checklist dataset as the starting point. We are now in process of testing out some custom functions that would automate the process. We should investigate the possibility of automatic linking of GBIF occurrences which are marked as holotype, paratype (etc...) with GenBank records using specimen_voucher ~ catalogNumber relation
