@camiplata @DianRHR
I need your opinion on this one. The species Anthrenus oculatus Arrow, 1937 is missing from the GBIF Backbone taxonomy. It looks like the Catalogue of Life doesn't have any species (nor any source) for that genus: https://www.catalogueoflife.org/data/taxon/C8TNY so I probably shouldn't forward it to the Catalogue of Life? Where could I suggest to add this species?
As a side note, 41 (out of 93) of the species from that genus on GBIF came from ZooBank (the next "big" checklist contributing to species for the genus is TAXREF which gave 13 species).
@ManonGros I checked in the last version of the COL xrelease and found that we are merging a good number of species of this genus from different sources, but Anthrenus oculatus is not included yet. I found a possible external source for this family, although it is not in ChecklistBank, I will analise it and contact them to check if they want to include their data in ChecklistBank, so it can be merged in a future version of the xrelease.
Anthrenus oculatus missing
In Coleopteran insect genus - this species appears to be missing Anthrenus oculatus Arrow, 1937
