2 years ago - Balroglanis carolae (Vari & Ferraris, 2013) is a newly described fish species and is present in the CTD. CTD has been suggested for the dataset catcher.
- Ornithuroscincus albodorsalis (Vogt, 1932) is a reptile and the species can be found on CoL and should be included in the next backbone update. The same is the case for Ornithuroscincus nototaenia (Boulenger, 1914).
- Alpinoscincus alpinus (Greer, Allison & Cogger, 2005) and Alpinoscincus subalpinus (Greer, Allison & Cogger, 2005) are reptiles that can be found in the reptile database which is included as a checklist on GBIF, maintained by CoL. Both alpinus and subalpinus are in CoL and should be included in the backbone when it is updated again.
missing taxa (IUCN Red List update July 2022)
The latest update to the IUCN Red List contains about ~7,000 species. I'm about to import those that cite GBIF as literature entries and during processing, I became aware of a few names that I can't match to the back backbone, fyi:
