Simple synonym of this taxon not reflected in backbone

For Animalia, Arachnida, Opiliones, Stygnidae: Protimesius mendopticus (Soares, 1978)

This above a revised combination - in Pinto-da-Rocha 1997a: 287, but outdated.

It's misduplicated in backbone with its synonyms - elsewhere showing the valid combination/protonym. https://www.gbif.org/species/10992083

Just to clarify - the above comment was mine. In other words, the sprurious entry "Protimesius mendopticus" needs somehow altering to reflect its a synonym under Obidosus mendopticus

The source [World Catalogue of Opiliones] used widely in this group reflects the synonym (Protimesius mendopticus = Obidosus mendopticus) and appears has done so for quite some time, so i'm not seeing the same issue in the source database that simply needs the update to be integrated - something seems amiss

Else, bonus points to any curator who also might want to link the spurious "Protimesius Und" "https://www.gbif.org/species/12062766" Under the valid genus Protimesius Roewer, 1913 https://www.gbif.org/species/4660810
