The name comes from the barcode of life. We should contact them.

name is now Leptestheria dahalacensis (Rüppel, 1837) https://www.gbif.org/species/10517921

but user claims name should be Leptestheria dahalacensis (Rueppell, in Straus-Duerckheim 1837)

and new source is the GBIF Backbone Patch https://www.gbif.org/dataset/daacce49-b206-469b-8dc2-2257719f3afa

@mdoering Should the authorship still be changed?

The backbone patch dataset today contains two versions of the name, one clearly a misspelling, concerning both the species epithet and the author name:

Citations across literature seem to agree on the spelling Leptestheria dahalacensis (Rüppel, 1837).
