Information about the institution has been updated.
The museum has 27 collections as listed on the DiSSco-BG website, from which only the herbarium BNHM was at GRSciColl before 03.10.2023. The Fossil Mammals Collection - Branch Asenovgrad was added to the Paleonotlogical Museum, Asenovgrad on 03.10.2023
After consulting with the person leading the WP for digitisation and checking the codes, added manually 30 collections, 2 of which (same code and same url) were merged afterwards. Now 29 remain, of which 27 are biological.
Most collections are being digitised as part of the DiSSCo-BG project. Digitisation status was obtained on 15.11.2023.

There are 2 GBIF occurrence records which come from a third-party publisher (Biodiversity Data Journal), which were wrongly matched! I think this was due to the wrongly assigned InstitutionCode to NMNHS (Natural History Museum in Sofia): BNHM, which overlaps with some part of the code of the published specimens. When info was imported from IH, BNHM was also assigned as a code to the institution, not only to the herbarium. Solution: I removed BNHM as a InstitutionCode from National Museum of Natural History, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. @ManonGros Should I do anything else? Or after the code was removed the occurrences will be unlinked automatically?
NMNHS is not yet a publisher at GBIF but I plan to invite them to register. (Update, 31.10.2023: Publisher since 06.10.2023: https://www.gbif.org/publisher/826e5964-1925-48e4-a839-f4b418e75260)

Hi @spalp yes this is the way to proceed! Now we have to wait until our GRSciColl cached is refreshed (which happens twice a week) and reinterpret the dataset (which I can do). I will temporarily co-assign myself to remember to reinterpret the data.

@ManonGros, I have a conceptual question. Many physical collections share the same CollectionID because are in the same virtual collection in Specify (the system for managing our biological collection), despite the fact that they are managed by different curators, are stored in different places within the museum and have own names and websites. If I understand well how GBIF occurrences are linked to collections, there will be no way to assign the occurrences separately to each collections, since the exported dataset won't contain a unique identifier to each (unless an alternative code is added before export, I guess). How should I proceed: should I suggest to my colleagues to merge the collections also in GRSciColl, or should I think of a separate export of each collection based on some taxonomy (and then assign unique code)? Possible solution: Make separate export based on taxonomy, since all collections have otherwise the same CollectionID in Specify.

'Collection GUID' for each collection in the Specify database (n = 10) was added as a UUID identifier to the corresponding GRSciColl collection (n = 30). Exception: No Collection Code nor GUID available for the collection Herpetology in Specify.
Requested the Herbarium to be disconnected its mastersource (i.e. IH) because it will be replaced by two separate collections - Botany and Mycology.

Got response today that they will update the entry using the online suggesting system.
