13k+ anopheline mosquito occurrences assembled from literature and provided under CC BY licence in non-standardized format (.xlsx) via Harvard Dataverse:

'A geo-coded inventory of anophelines in the Afrotropical Region south of the Sahara: 1898-2016' contact: rsnow@kemri-wellcome.org ... I will check to make sure Dr. Snow is still at KEMRI then reach out to inquire about publishing to GBIF. The original publication appears to fall into the category of a 'data paper' so I'm not certain inviting to the 2nd vector data paper call is appropriate.

Marianne Sinka told me Bob Snow was a founder of the Malaria Atlas Project (MAP) and that a big proportion of this dataset is already in the MAP occurrence data and will be available at Vector Atlas, so very likely avalaible at GBIF at some point as well.
