What are the required fields for publish a dataset with this tool? #50

I have two questions regarding required fields, first from my understanding the fields marked with a red asterisk should be filled, otherwise a dataset will not be processed. But I did publish a dataset with missing eventDate and decimal coordinates. It showed a message but I could proceed without further problem.

Second is that we are curious where these required fields come from? I checked the publishing DNA guide, specifically the data mapping sections and the requirements are a little bit different. Also on the template ReadMe, requirements are focused on duplicated IDs. Maybe it can be a small FAQ addressing required and recommended fields.
