Can you please clarify what you mean by API calls? - do we want all the way to the backend REST API or just to the GraphQL API which the hosted portals uses

The suggestion was to add the referer in the user agent, but that seems wrong. I'd rather just edit the agent to be GBIF graphql, and then forward whatever the referer is. And then let the analytics code deal with parsing that if needed.
